This image just sucks you into the landscape. What a bizarre feeling? One of the most unusual 'spatial effects' I've had from a photograph. There are many lessons here for old hands like me but it will take me awhile to unravel the threads and deconstruct the composition. .A brilliant image and a credit to the photographers skill.

Bleak, dark and very lacking in colour.
I love it, and for exactly these reasons. A postcard photo it is not; and that's what makes it so much the better.
