Cacti and Flowers, something a little different.Went for a stroll through the Sydney Botanical Gardens at sunrise this morning with my new 85mm 1.4 and 50mm 1.4 in tow. Here's what i found. Something just a little different.

He did the right way, picked the 85/f1.4 in the right time! Soon or later will be no longer. All will be made by plastic. Very nice works , killakoala! Birddog114

Realy nice pictures, would look great in any coffee table gardening book.
I'd love to say something a little more constructive/technical/worthwhile, but they are so good I can't think of any more to say! CC
Steve - congrats on the lenses and already you have shown us all some really good quality pics - sharp, contrasty, good bokeh and more importantly, great to look at

I agree with Glen, the twin cacti shot is very nice. So is that new lens!

Good shots. The first and last cactus shots are both especially good. I notice you have EXIF turned off on SmugMug. Which ones were shot with the 50/1.4? Peter

Thanks all. It would be hard to take a bad photo with such a beautiful lens.
Stubbsy - The purple and the pink flower photos were with the 50mm 1.4 then rest with the 85mm 1.4. Kerry - Yep, the 85mm is my new favorite lens Darb - Yeah, fair enough but i want to give dial-up users a go too Steve.

My favourite is this one:
Absolutely beautiful Looks like a good choice of lens, and someone behind the viewfinder that has already worked out how to use it well *** When getting there is half the fun! ***
