WRC 2016 Coffs Coast today

Spent a long and dusty day in the scrub near Valla Beach today. Very poor day for photography with harsh sunlight and dust. Lots of it. Tonnes of it. Mountains of it. Clouds of it.

There good the dust adds to the shots in my opinion. especially the last one. Three is the one I like the best.

Was there any dust? I must be missing something; when I was rallying it was all over the place.
Love #s 2 and 3 of this set. They're telling a great story. Well done.

I'm still cleaning dust from my ears two days after the event!
Funniest thing was seeing two old blokes from (central/eastern) Europe, walking down the middle of the road during the WRC racing. One of the marshalls yelled "Oi, get orf the road...". The old blokes muttered something in Slavic/Russian/Latvian/whatever and calmly stepped to one side as a car came roaring past. They then just as calmly stepped back onto the dusty road and continued their walk. Seems Europe is a far more spectator accommodating place than nanny-state Oz, where every patron is micro managed to the nth degree.
