Nice, and nicely done.

While I generally don't like the application of frames, in this instance, I'd like to see what you've done changed a little so that instead of just the plain black, it looks more like a 6x6 film stock proof sheet.

I like these images....and agree with Gary that a film like frame might improve the presentation. All the same , there is something compelling about the series.

That's good, although what I had in mind was for the whole series of four to each have such a frame, but retain the physical connection with one another, as though this was a proof sheet.

Now we're getting into some interesting territory here.

First of all, the frame that you've selected looks great, but on looking more closely at it, I suspect that this is a sheet film style frame, rather than one from roll film. Two elements suggest this to me: along the top edge of the frame you can see that there are some notches. These are used by photographers to help them align the film when placing it into the sheet frame holder (e.g. a double dark slide) prior to use. The film actually slides into the holder via a pair pf rails, and about one fifth of the way down each of the sides you can see an edge, which looks to me as if it's where the rail commences, which is my second indicator that this looks like a sheet film style of frame.

This is where it gets a tad interesting, because I'm not aware of any sheet film holder that's actually in a square format. Matt?

Gary, the originals were rectangular. I was not sure of what you had suggested hence the single frame first. This is easier to do but there low res but I can make theses. The ones in the link I not sure about as there are only 4 but if I did 4 in colour which I have but not all yet. But making the frame would be interesting. I have to see if I can get close.

I think you are right Gary. I can't recall any square format sheet film. Curious.
Tony....see if you can locate some Polaroid film frames. They look very arty and might just be the perfect match for your series.I do like the large image of the bird. It is wonderful.

There's literally millions of examples like the one I provided. Just google Hasselblad contact sheet. I'd be surprised if there wasn't such a frame already available.

Matt's Polaroid suggestion is interesting too. There's a lot of scope with what you've done here.
