Many years ago I did a session with a couple of mates from here including Colin (who lives in Hazelbrook) at a little spot called Coachwood Circuit, which I again visited. It's a very nice little walk, but the more interesting things there are under foot - funky fungi. This place is alive with it, you barely need to walk several metres to get a full gamut of fungi, from cool red ones to dinky little white things to stuff which looks like its from another planet.

I took a slightly different approach with this one, 3 shot panorama each shot is taken with the same light source, a diffused SB600 off to the left of the frame.

I prefer the first one, but both are great photos in too many ways to mention.

I love the absence of light in this second one. The darkness, but with good exposure, along the lh side of this image, really helps that party man stand out.

Thanks Gary, I did put quite some effort into this one to get the lighting right, to create some mystery but also maintain the fungi..
