No images are showing for me.
Looks like they're being blocked somewhere ...

I'm still trying to figure out how to get full size photos to load and no thumbnails etc.

These are all great. There's something very charming about these sorts of houses in the USofA, and especially so in a snow-filled setting. It's obviously cold, but the homes seem to be inviting you in.
I'm intrigued by the sign in the background, out front of the house, in the image of the truck's tray. (#3) I love the composition of this, with the house as the secondary subject, but the writing on the sign appears to be backwards?
I would love to see one a home here, around sunset, lights on (warm colouring from the lights) out in the snow.
When I used to shoot weedings (or weddings; it was one of those sorts of events) I used to read (well, look at the pretty pictures) on how to market oneself as a wedding photographer, showing techniques, locations, setups, etc. One thing that I noticed was the inherent prettiness of the churches, which - in these books - were not surrounded by the detrious of suburbia. A simple church with a steeple, on a slight hill, grass field all the way around, no fence, no other buildings .... It upset me because there's nothing like that (to my knowledge) in Sydney. Makes one's task so much easier when the surrounds cooperate

Thanks Gary. Funnily enough despite their being 197 billion people in America, there's so much open space. Rural Michigan is a case in point. Beautiful spot. Classic country churches, full of ye-old-world-charm houses complete with basements and attics. Deer. And snow. The only problematic part of photographing these places in winter is the weather. It really is perishingly cold at times. (I enjoy the cold more than the heat). Keeping lens etc fog, snow, moisture free is a job.
