Montserrat Benedictine AbbeyI took this picture of the Benedictine Abbey in Montserrat in December 2018. Montserrat, which means "serrated mountain" in Catalonian, is a mountain with many peaks that looks like a handsaw from the distance and it is just one hour rail travel from Barcelona. The Benedictine Abbey of Santa Maria de Montserrat is high up in the mountain and has a black statue of the Virgin of Montserrat, the Patron Saint of Catalonia. I hope you like it.
Re: Montserrat Benedictine AbbeyVery nicely done.
The Abbey in the foreground, nicely positioned in the corner, with the layered background areas tapering off into the distance makes for a very pleasant image. g.

Re: Montserrat Benedictine AbbeyThank you gentlemen. I am afraid the Catalans and Spain in general are not doing well with Covid-19. The official death figures is 92,000 (mainly senior citizens) in only one year. The true figure will be almost double that; and despite having lock-downs, there are tourists flocking towards Spain because the restaurants and bars are open for business.
