Mudcrab muse and caviar entreeI took this picture at a wine-tasting lunch recently. It is an entree made with a muse of mud crab, caviar and many other ingredients. I didn't eat it because I can't stand crab or caviar. I took the picture because I couldn't help but admire the chef's craftsmanship to create such a delight to the eyes and palate, for the guests. I remember thinking at the time "so much work and time to create this entree and eaten in less than a minute" - the taste has long gone from the mouths that ate it, but the image persists. I hope you like it.
Re: Mudcrab muse and caviar entreeYou didn't email it to me? That's not very friendly.
But seriously, this is a seriously nice image, and especially given the situation within which it would have been made. As to the chef's expertise and tine vs the time taken to eat it, I can well relate: it takes me hours to prepare some sushi (when I'm making it), but literally seconds for it all to disappear from the plates. g.
