A Curiously Strange Cactus

This is not posted for review and critique, but rather because Killakoala and some of the others especially like cacti and I thought this one was quite interesting. It's common name is the Easter Lily Cactus (see inset sign). To me parts of it rather look like molded plastic. :roll:

I love cactii Steve, and have a bit of a collection myself. This is an interesting looking beasty. Thanks for sharing.

Hi Greg - Some of these you just can't walk past without clicking your shutter at least once. They are fascinating.

I wasn't sure about the plural of cactus, but the Webster's from my college days gives cacti and cactuses. It doesn't include cactii. I'll have to get out the 20 pounder and look in there, too. :cry:

Whatever the plural is, they still look to me like they're straight out of the front garden at Chernobyl...

They look a bit like coral. :) You're right Steve, there's some weird looking plants and cacti in the world.
