Dance mask (Sivirhitki 2016)

The mask is used by women during evening dancing ceremonies in the village of Gaulim on the Gazelle Peninsula. These dances were discourage by missionaries, but in 1973 and after almost 70 years the tradition was revived as a fertility ritual.
