Eerie glow in the west... spooky statues in the foreground.

Thanks Steve and Darryl.

Shot taken at 5.30pm this afternoon.
Kit lens, 1/800@f4.5, ISO640. PP done: Levels, Shadows adjust, crop. Didn't have to do anything to the colours - a much higher authority was looking after that department!

OK Simon...

Maybe something has been lost in the JPG conversion, but this looks as if it's either:

- a small crop from a larger pic
- taken at high ISO (AHA!), or
- you've played about with it in PS...
- all of the above...

Nice composition, nice colour, but something happened along the way...

Sorry if I'm too honest...

Ummm.....yeah, all of the above, John, though the PS work was only as I listed in my previous post. Plus I forgot to mention the frame. The crop only took off about 10% across the top and about 5% off the left side.

Nothing else done.

"End of Days" indeed, Chris. It was a little like that! Just as I was taking the photo a stray cat brushed against my leg and nearly put me into cardiac failure. Almost the end of MY days!
