This is a photo of my gorgeous dog Jessie taken today with the lovely 50mm 1.4 lens...lurvely..she is so much cuter in person (dogson? hehe)...and is often hard to get a good shot of her, but I thought this one worked reasonably well. Comments and feedback welcome:

She looks sad, ears down or was it just the moment.
Then again this was the dog that went missing during a thunderstorm and was in a neighbours shed from memory.

Good memory Fozzie, this is her (that went missing)...she was watching something I think, just the moment perhaps, maybe she was sad I wasn't throwing her a ball and telling her to sit in the hope she she'd stay still for me for a second or two? ...or maybe it was the valium I popped in her bowl? (erm..that was a joke)...

Great shot Geoff. I know how hard it is to take a good pic of your four legged companion. Mine either comes right up to me and looks for the hidden treat, or sees the camera, thinks not again, and goes and lies in the corner.
