up, up and away

Looking back through my collection of D70 pics I came across this from last September, taken at Mt Tambourine in SEQld. I liked the bright colours against the blue sky. Kit lens @70mm 1/400 @ f/11, PP'd to increase saturation and unsharp mask.

Great photo Gordon and your title reminds me of my flower power days back in the 60’s right down to the embroidered denim jacket :lol:

Quite a nice shot, Gordon. great colors. :) The halo police will be after you though, for the sharpening halo around the guy's body and the dark edges of the 'chute. High contrast edges will give you those halos. The easiest way to avoid that is by duplicating the layer and applying differing levels of sharpness to both layers. Light levels of USM to the bottom layer and then heavier levels to the top layer, if needed. Then erase the halo areas in the top layer with a small brush size and merge the layers. That should give you good sharpness throughout the image, without halos. :?
