The world is not always what it seems to be

I got my new Nikon zoom lens last night (after dark) and had to throw it on to play with it.
Ok - I'm a newbie but love the fact that when you stop looking at the world @ 1:1 aspect ratio it looks so much more interesting !
This is the first shot I show people and ask them what they see....what do you see (in the first 2 seconds)
Then see the this shot to view in 1:1 context....isn't up close much better , although I always had my doubts about Indian food LOL.
OK so the focusing isn't perfect etc blah but it was the subject that mattered and I like the reflections/light effects BTW there is no post processing
Fire away with the comments (use rubber bullets please )
