Please note that this is not an area for you to showcase your images, nor is this a place for you to show-off where you have been. This is an area for you to post images so that you may share with us a technique that you have mastered, or are trying to master. Forum rules
Please note that image critiquing is a matter of give and take: if you post images for critique, and you then expect to receive criticism, then it is also reasonable, fair and appropriate that, in return, you post your critique of the images of other members here as a matter of courtesy. So please do offer your critique of the images of others; your opinion is important, and will help everyone here enjoy their visit to far greater extent.

Also please note that, unless you state something to the contrary, other members might attempt to repost your image with their own post processing applied. We see this as an acceptable form of critique, but should you prefer that others not modify your work, this is perfectly ok, and you should state this, either within your post, or within your signature.

Images posted here should conform with the general forum guidelines. Image sizes should not exceed 950 pixels along the largest side (height or width) and typically no more than four images per post or thread.

Please also ensure that you have a meaningful location included in your profile. Please refer to the FAQ for details of what "meaningful" is.

This not for critique, just a follow up on "Bad Injury" posted a week or so ago. A few of you asked to see the culprit so here it is (+ a couple more of said injury):

The scar actually looks a lot longer in these pics than the original one you posted (from what I can remember....) eeeewww, the poor little fella, he must have been so brave. I certainly would have fainted to see that, pouring out blood on one of my kids head. I feel faint just looking at the stitches...better go and lie down I think!!!

So, what sort of toilet roll holder do you have now?

You can only hope the hair alone the scar grows back white - adds character.

Looks like a bad knock.

Hi Marcus,

how did your son connect with that thing ?
I believe I haven't heared the story. :?:
Did he slip and crash into it ? :(
I hope he's not drinking
And I surely hope that he is well.

Cheers

Thanks marcus,

I'm happy you don't have killer toilet roll holders.
So, how is the head injury looking today ?
All healed, no scar, hair growing ok ?

Cheers

Christiand,
He has a small scar (say 1.5cm) on his forehead but it is fading well. This was the impact point. You can't see anything in his hairline and scalp as it was a really clean cut. As mentioned B4 he was'nt even Xray'ed as his skull was totally exposed and a visual check confirmed no fractures. I know that sounds ugly (as it was) but the Doctors all agreed there was no need as they had a good look at his skull through the wound.
I'm glad I'm not a Doctor it's hard enough being a parent of 2 boys. My eldest son got hit by a car on his bike 4 months ago......he too is very lucky. My boys keep us busy, we are in hospital with them about 4 times a year.
