Awesome. I really love this type of photo. Well done. It's a pity you couldn't get him entering the water as well. That would be cool.

What I want to know is how he actually made the water. There is not an awful lot of clearance and after working in a spinal unit and knowing that

diving + men = spinal injury

I can see why.

As for the photo - amazing :D Love the action

i did actually get one last shot of him, but it was mainly just a splash...it worked better without it..trust me....

this guy (and others) jump off this cliff in mazatlan, Mexico all the time for tips..its a big tourist attraction, and although it looks kinda dangerous, the depth of the water and clearance is more than adequate...

i do have a pic of him after the jump to prove he is still ambulatory...heheh

Hey Dee,

THis is really nice. I do wonder however how this would look with the pic of him with his arms stretched out in the swan without any of the others.
Of course you never err in composition, I like how you sort of kept the water and entry out of the picture. We don't know if he's going to hit the side, if the water is right there or another 15 feet. Very cool.

BBJ: simply cloned him in with PS from all of my sequence shots...

Dave: yeah, your idea works too.
I just thought i would have fun with this pic since i was able to get the sequence...

here's the man AFTER the jump...
