I think landing markers of some sort were probably required. That seagull looks like it is about to collect the two ducks :)

The seagull has no regards for anyone. It would fight, quarrel and even steal food from anyone. It is also one fierce looking bird.

This is a fabulous capture, Arthur. I really like the sense of movement and anticipation!

I wish I was at the Melbourne meet. I could not make it as I had to attend to some urgent matters. Anyway the photo is one of the many that I posted recently - all taken at Albert Lake Park on the same day.'
