I took a walk on Nose Hill Park here in town. It's basically a wildlife reserve with deer, porcupines, coyotes.. etc. There's also flowers that grow there, that do not exist anywhere else in the world. It's also the highest point in the city and give a great view. I thought I would share with you guys what my part of the world looks like.

This last picture doesn't look so great, but I wanted to show you the deer with the rocky mountains in the back drop. Taken with my crappy 70-300 Tamron.

Nice shots.

I particularly like the second one. Would fit in with the windows XP backgrounds (that is beautiful shots of nature, but somewhat cliched.) Not that yours is really cliched... argh, I give it up. Tis a nice shot, but hard to describe what I mean.

Interesting shots, Neeper. Calgary looks larger than I had imagined. It's not hard to imagine that it's a more lovely, nicer place than Detroit.... :?
