Some very early pix's done on the D70. Shot in JPEG low res and with heavy cropping to get the best out of the group of shots. Kit lens............
and a bit too much saturation.......

They are remarkably beautiful images. A bit like the "Ann Geddes" of bee pics. Put them aside for something special...like an exhibition.

Nice photos big pix...

But was that bee / wasp alive???

In the first 2 shots it looks as if it was just lying there in the flower...
Last one looks natural though

Another pix from the same shoot....... The bees where on a very large camellia bush hanging over a fence while I was walking along after coffee ...... You never know when a good shot will present itself........
