I took this one with 80-200AFS at 200mm hand held. Since this is my first shot at this... go easy! Nah, any comments would be greatly appreciated!

Wow, that wall of heat is crazy. I think I would have liked a tighter crop on the person. And maybe compose him in the left a little more.

Superb shot there.
THe heat effect looks almost like a painting.

I would perhaps increase the saturation slightly to lend more colour to the flames. But thats just me.

Nice one

I really like this image. That heat is so intense parts of the image look like they were shot through that frosted glass. Really conveys a story in my book.

Very nice capture of the heat there. The man in the picture makes the whole story alot more interesting.

Wow. It's impressive. Well done. :D
I don't agree about cropping - it's important to get a perspective of the extent of the fire. It may have been slightly better compositionally if the person was not so centrally placed in the frame.
And yes, a little saturation may enhance it.
Good pic. The heat haze looks like frosted glass in the background.

Interesting and unique shot. :D I agree with the crop on the left side to decentralize the person.

Wow. You can almost feel your skin blistering. Top shot!
I can see both sides of the crop/composition argument so I don't really have anything further to add.

Blisteringly good shot. I actually like the centralisation of the man - it’s like walking from fire to fire, but that’s me :D

Thanks everyone, I really appreciate the feed back.

I've taken into account some of the helpful suggetions put forward and tried a few alterations in Photoshop. My PS skills aren't exactly top notch but a small boost in red channel saturation and crop produced the following.

There are some things about the original image that I prefer. The glass wall effect isn't quite the same.
