The proof that a 105 micro is just as versatile as a telephoto - nice photo - I am sure tho’ this is the strangest looking duck Mic :roll:

indeed... It is my only fast tele lens (the only other thing I have above 70mm is the 70-300G and it is around f/4 by 100mm)

Thanks for the comments! The seagulls were flying nice and low so it was a matter of tracking and continusly re-focusing using af-s waiting until the right moment and composing and shooting...

Makes me lust for a longer prime :)
(or just a 70-200VR)

ETA early June 05. BTW, I've just got a new acquisition today: A Nikkor 24/ f.2 AI-S MF
and it's beautiful WA with f.2.
I'm collecting fast lenses now.
