That's a fabulous capture Chris.
The colours are so natural and it's beautifully composed. And what can be said about the bokeh? Superb.
Four words: Print, Frame, Hang, Enjoy.

Nice pic Chris. That Sigma glass shines yet again. You can make it sing. Is that rose in your garden too?

It was in the garden Steve - but now dead. Still there will be more to come to give beauty and perfume

Chris - The beautiful, rich, reddish background makes the shot. I've taken so many rose pictures that I'm pretty tired of them, but this one sings real purdy. Nice! Your love of flowers always shows in your pictures of them.

Yes, I like this image too, Chris. Excellent soft pastel colours in the flower, and a great background.

There is a story around my love of flowers.
Back in the late 60’s I was a bit of a dope head. I would even get a taxi at lunch time from my job and just ask the driver to drive around whilst I had a reefer.
One day I went into the country and came upon a field of flowers and whilst walking through that field I realised that I got a better ”high” from the smell and beauty of nature than I did from dope

Now that's a cool story. and I agree, the even coloured background really makes it.
From a very young age yellow and purple have seemed to go together for me. My wife (who dresses me for fear I'll wear a dark blue suit with a light blue tie) has always disagreed. I think I'll show her this shot, it might just bring her around

Colors and background really make the shot jump Chris. Great work, and lovely pic.
