(I understand that you shoot lots of great race pictures and probably meant this particular type of car shot.) But still you're gonna be downright scary when you "actually get good" or "feel comfortable" at it. Whichever you meant.

Nice action pics, as are your usual fine fare, John!

Excelent pics there mate 8)

Wish i could take some 1/2 as clear one day with my camera/ lense. I was at my local speedway last night at Waikerie which i had not been to for 20 year and took heeps of pics trying to pan and manual focus from behind the fence at 1600 iso . Very hard but when those 360's rumblle past they sound fantastic. ....... i will try and put some pics up later

The second photo with the STi is absolutely brilliant! :D Love the colours and the blurred background. I challenge anybody to try and recreate that effect in photoshop ;)

Wow, excellent pics John. These are definitely magazine quality. Sorry you didn't have any expected new lenses to shoot with...

Thanks All, for coments and yeh well i dont know how some people get all these shots at higher ISO without getting much noise in them. But yeh this time i didnt forget to check as i actually had to bump it up so i could get a good shutter speed, but i now need a flash as well but yeh first time doing this so i know now for next time.Being in the midle of a pine forest and it gets a bit dark.
Chi would have been good with a nice fast lens, oh well i will have soon. LOL
Anyhow upload a 100 pics to my site last nite if u wanna see more.
Cheers
John
