All taken with my Sigma 105 (on the day after I got it). From memory, all are handheld.

Once again I should have listened (like not taking up RAW early) and started using sharpening a long time ago, it improves photos.

Nick once you get started on macro work it becomes as addictive as lens lust.

Nick

Shows the lens off nicely.

So far as having listened - the mere fact that you now shoot raw and use sharpening means you do listen, and learn

Wow! - You really got off to a flying start with your new macro lens. Nice work. I took a bit longer to grow into my 105mm Nikkor micro. I'm very impressed (and maybe just a little bit depressed too).

It adds flash lust too. I want the SB-800 now, a desire that never took me before, as I don't do any indoor shooting or similar, but for macro one would be great.

Thanks for all the comments.

I suppose so Peter, sometimes I just think I know best though. (BTW I have to grab that Colorvision off you some time)
