Out by the pool.........Shoot against the water of the pool using shallow DOF to create a more interesting shot.............. 55mm manual macro with close up tube 500 f5.6 hand held 200iso.........There is NO PP in this shot only shot on raw and opened with NO changes in raw......... converted to jpeg for down sizing.....Cheers bp
Cheers ....bp....
Difference between a good street photographer and a great street photographer.... Removing objects that do not belong... happy for the comments, but .....Please DO NOT edit my image..... http://bigpix.smugmug.com Forever changing
The thing i like about this picture is the fantastic contrasting colours. The orange an the blue really go very well together. Both colours are very intense. However. for my liking, i think the DOF is too shallow, but i can appreciate what you have attempted to do.
Well done. Steve.

BP - I like this pic - the shallow DOF helps focus the eye to one narrow plane but more importantly, the two colours aid and abett this DOF

Love the colours in the photo as usual Not really overwhelmed by the DOF tho, would've preferred if the entire centre part of the flower was in focus and the rest just a blurry haze
Great work once again.
