That first one is almost too perfect, Kerry. It looks like the buildings and even the road were staged just for your shot. Good eye and good picture!

Kerry - #1 does it for me. There is something almost mystical about late afternoon or early morning shots.

Let me have a guess Kerry - I think this is an early morning shot. There is a coolness in the pic indicative of early morning and the sun has not yet reached ”full power”.

But then again, I could be totally wrong coz this is the N hemisphere

Northern Hemisphere gotcha, Chris. We are just coming into spring, still quite cool here, and it's almost a sunset shot.

That’s why I added the last comment Kerry

After photographing many a sunset in England I know that a sunset can have a cool look - unlike Oz

Better make that a couple of days Mic - otherwise you'll be shooting farmhouses from out of a plane window somewhere over the Pacific....

As always Kerry - brilliant shots. Must be hard to choose which direction to point that lens sometimes.
