That first one is almost too perfect, Kerry. It looks like the buildings and even the road were staged just for your shot. Good eye and good picture!
Hard work pays off in the future. Laziness pays off now.
Kerry - #1 does it for me. There is something almost mystical about late afternoon or early morning shots.
Let me have a guess Kerry - I think this is an early morning shot. There is a coolness in the pic indicative of early morning and the sun has not yet reached ”full power”. But then again, I could be totally wrong coz this is the N hemisphere Chris

Thanks for all the very kind comments, guys.
Northern Hemisphere gotcha, Chris. We are just coming into spring, still quite cool here, and it's almost a sunset shot. my gallery of so-so photos

That’s why I added the last comment Kerry
After photographing many a sunset in England I know that a sunset can have a cool look - unlike Oz Chris

Better make that a couple of days Mic - otherwise you'll be shooting farmhouses from out of a plane window somewhere over the Pacific.... As always Kerry - brilliant shots. Must be hard to choose which direction to point that lens sometimes. Simon
