Love the dragonfly and the spider. The backgrounds really add to these photos for me.
What lens are you using and how close do you get to your subject? (Macro noob here)

Very nice!
Shot #2 really does it for me.
I love the shallow DOF.
Which sigma macro lens do you have?
I am in the hunt for one myself and can't decide.

Sigma 105, 2.8 macro also used the SB-800 on these shots.
At 1:1 I probably get about 8" to the subject.

A mixture of both, shot about 40 photos, I couldn't tell you which were which though.
Actually I just checked the exif and the first one is AF-S the other 2 are manual.

I love #2.
That is one sweet lens isnt it.
