Hey coolbeer6,
Try the second one with an ND filterand a monopod (or rest it on a rock), you'd be sport on the money then!
Not a bad effort none the less!

Just out of curiousity what ISO setting did you use, you images (incl your moon cature) seem to me, to be abeit noisey.

G'day Cool,

Wow, love the shot of the anenomea (how the heck to do I spell that? Greg?). Try adding a little extra saturation or playing with curves & levels to make it really pop... I'd also try cloning out the faint images in the black areas to lessen the distraction from the main "thingy".

The hand-held water shot is impressive, if I tried a hand-held water shot with my shaky hands you couldn't make out what it was! The ND filter is good for making the blurred, soft water effect by extending the exposure time but you'd need to use a tripod or rest the camera on something steady...

Really like that anenomea, geesss, the water thingy

Cheers.

The first shot is wonderfull and the noise does not detract from its beauty :D

hi click thanks for the comments - the moon pic i zoomed in too far but i did like the look if the moon. iso250 . focal lengh 200 ...
fish tank = iso 1000 (as it was realy dark there the fish tanks were and i also had to auto contrast as the pic was realy under exposed) and sharpened it in nikon veiw as i liked it better than not sharpened ..
the water feature focal lengh 70 . iso250 1/8sec-f/14 shutter priority and i think i did the sharpening thing to it aswell as it gave the water more define lines of moovement not just a blanket of silk ....
