Coolbeer, I agree with Frank, if you want bigger in the frame get closer. Try the roof of a mate with a two storey house

ps came out well

anubis i have tryed to do alot of moo pics too , the ones in the first postings were done in the morning and the sky was light and as blue as the pics .. the ones i take at night do take some time to get the right exposure , my main problem with the night shots are they come out not as clear as i wood like - this could be caused dy the cheep crappy trypod i have but setting the timer on for the shots dose help so your not touching the camera at the time of the shot .. here is one that failed but i still like it - it was taken when the sun just dropped down over the horision and the moon was verry bright ...

Hi there Coolbeer,

I have had similar experiences and pictures but this time at about 23:30-01:30 from our apartments balcony on the 6th floor. Have tried with really slow shutter speeds (like 8 secs or so) with a wide aperture but the moon just appears as a bright disk with no details!.

Used the Nikon 70-300 ED at 300mm for these shots, just doesnt seem to work....what were your settings?

I get very good pics with iso 200, f/6.7 to f/11 on 1/350th sec using a 70-200mm lens. :D
