Saturday Soccer

My son was refereeing the mini soccer today, and here are a few shots. I've tried sports photography on a few occasions, and boy is it harder than it looks, even with the kids!

Frank - you are so right, it is always a hard job getting any form of sport to slow down for the camera :D

I like the middle shot - good DOF and good action

Frank all i can say is keep doing it and you will soon learn what to do and camera settings etc... But by looking at these pics u r getting there the more u do it the more u will look at a picture or the play and then think about the shot and snap. Always hard to anticipate what and where, but i too like #2 is a great shot showing action. Practice, practice and more is the key to this type pics.
