Do you think this picture is ruined by the Streaks or enhanced?

Also Should i crop out the right hand side (thinner streaks)

Your (any thoughts) thoughts will be appreciated

Now that is interesting because I can’t see any shape or form. I have looked at this pic a few times and I do like it but wondered whether it would look better cropped top and bottom to a horizontal pano

The second shot works for me though I'd like a little more interest in the foreground. A bicycle leaning on a wall, a child looking over the sea wall, someone walking on the path. Something to break the monotony but not enough to distract from the strong lines leading to the Opera House.

I don't like the first shot. In B&W these streaks don't work as far as i'm concerned. Turning the streaks into vibrant colors (? pink, yellow) may do someting. There is also a strong step artifact in the streaks on the left. Presumably a resizing issue but if this is present on the original image I wouldn't bother with it further.

The first shot would look fantastic as a pano crop. Remove most of the sky and part of the fence to draw the eye more to the the streaks and opera house. What does it look like in colour?

I like the way the divider draws the eye to the opera house, however as a b&w, the opera house tends to blend in with the clouds a bit too much. Maybe adjust the levels or the opera house or the clouds a bit more and crop out the right side of the photo. The peopl walking don't really contribute to the photo

Not for me . The steaks in the first image add nothing to the image.

I have to say the first image just doesn't do it for me. The streaks really detract from rather than add to the capture and the B& W probably accentuates this.

The second image is a completely different matter. I think it works extremely well and is a great take on a very well photographed landmark.
