Shot at sunrise D70 kit lens at 38mm iso200 hand held at 60th f10.......ppin raw, the more I use raw the more I am understanding how powerful this part of
PS really works, the colours I am now getting are much softer and have a greater depth and range. Looks like I am going to re process some of my old images
cheers

Big Pix,
I believe that the thread would be more accurately titled if it was called "Not just another boat pic". The colours are very nice and the water is beautiful. Only criticisms are that the horizon may not be quite level and I think you've got some dust on your sensor.
Cheers,
Bruce

The horizon is level as it goes away at a wider point, no that is not dust but boat mornings...........

Boat moorings in the sky???
Dust bunny about 1cm above the horizon near the left hand side...
Really nice pix though... Is that the same row-boat that featured in one of your first posts?

Sorry leek it is a dust bunny in the sky.........and this is the same boat but with different PP with raw, as I am now getting very delicate colours. As a tiff file there is a greater range of colour, you just don't keep the same colour when reducing for the web.

Big Pix - you've really posted a number of excellent boat pics and this is yet another one. Not quite as good as the foggy Lake Macquarie one, but damn close.

Beautiful and relaxing scene, the colours are so soft and yet so rich...

Thanks for the comments.......... The rich colours and softness comes from shooting in raw and spending a little more time processing to achieve the best colour range that I could get. This only takes a few moments more......

Great shot bp,
boat in the foreground is perfectly placed to give us the depth. Colours are ace. Nicely done.
Regards, Trebs.
