Who said having late and wacky Autumn weather is bad?
This is in someone's garden on my way to work.
When I can eventually afford a house that has some decent land, I want one of these trees

Damn the little lady was right
I wasn't sure if it was a Maple as I thought Maples had big leaves
I guess it's Japanese so it's tiny, like my g/f

Beautiful shot enhanced by wise compositional choice so we get the blue sky as a contrast. I think this one would look good framed in that house when you buy it.

You can see why the Japanese have a passion for Ikebana (Sp?), sometimes simplicity is all you need.
Very nice image.

Beautful colours, almost like the image is in two planes with sharp foreground and blurred background (sort of nothing in between foreground and background if you know what I mean
), makes the shapes and colours really stand out...

I just recently had one of those babies in my mirror... althought it's spring up here on the boreal region of he world.
Nice shot though, I didn't have the best blue sky to work with

Beautiful, Piro. Gorgeous colour.
We don't get very strong seasons here in most of California. Especially the Southern part. It's nice to have
moderate weather all year, but it gets kind of boring too. Of course that's why everyone came here to make moving pictures in the 20's. But I digress too much.
Love your picture!

So do I...it's hard to resist those wonderful colours. These are 2 lovely shots Christian - I especially like the framing and the backgrounds, and the details in the leaves themselves. In no.2, that white highlight in the background is fairly distracting - if that could be toned down, then the shot would really improve. Otherwise, well done.

The colours are terrific, Autumn and Spring (for the flowers) are the best times of the year...
