It was very foggy this morning in Melbourne. Here are some pics I took at the Latrobe Uni lake. I have included a cobweb. Sorry......

These are wonderful! Love the cobweb, but I think #1 is my fav! Magical stuff! There is something always so eerie about fog.
Pity we didn't get any fog this morning, must have been concerntrated up the north. The CBD was shrouded, and I think the Airport suffered delays.
Beautiful pics....starting to look forward to the cold weather after seeing these (though a ripper thunderstorm wouldn't go astray
)

nice shots. I like the spider web shot. It is so hard to find a decent web shot that turns out right. Well done.

yes quite foggy indeed, in fact it put melbourne airport into another flight delay
as the airfield was no longer visable.

G'day mate,
That looks like a really interesting and photogenic spot, I'll have to for a wander around there one morning/evening...
That first shot is terrific, the fog makes the scene really moody, with some of the B&W stuff I've seen posted recently maybe that might be worth a try?
Cheers mate.

I love fog. It makes taking photos easier coz you don't have to worry about powerlines or ugly buildings in the distance and they add a 'mystique' quality to the shots. Try a couple of them in B&W and add a bit of noise to them as well, that will make the spooky too.
That cobweb is excellent.

Wow - love the spiderweb shot..brilliant
I think spiders webs are one of the most amazing 'acts' of nature - they get these webs so perfectly created - spins me out (no pun intended)

Yep that web shot is the one for me. I spend ages looking for decent webs in the morning but I haven't found one that has form like that yet, plus the dew really sets it off nicely.

Excellent captures Meicw. Love them all but the web and #1 are favourites. I would have been sorely tempted to clone out the duck though...
