Sacred Ground

As you all can see I'm still in a very light sort of mood
Inspired by Bram Stoker's "Dracula"
There are eyes looking out of those clouds, or is it this red ?

Went for a walk in the park on Sunday with the Wife & Kids took a few random sky shots and a cross over a cemetary's fence. Extracted the cross and made the sky a bit moody, had a glass of red & thought of one of my favourite movies.

Peace be with you all

Mic.

Hey Mic, when you say "extracted the cross", I hope you don't mean extracted out of the ground.
Very moody shot.

Thanks guys,

Jethro, yes Layering.

Would have liked a few more Critiques on this one, as I thought it came up pretty well as did the 4 of you who have already replied.

Whats happening people, are you sick of my dark mood and want the White Lighter back

Maybe I hit a raw nerve in a spirtual way, or maybe I lack Spirit

Critique, Critique away.

Mic.

I think it would look better inverted!

Bit to much black space on the rhs

I like it Mic, would have preferred it a touch lighter for more detail but like the effect

OK, I'll bite. What happened on the left hand side of the pic just above the treeline? Grey patches/splotches? I did view it on two diffrent monitors - same on both.

Otherwise, I like what you have done with this pic. The red seems to really bring out the creativity. Gonna have to try it sometime.

Cheers

Matt

MHD, Ha Haaaa. Tried that.

Glen, yes a tad lighter, but I didn't want to wreck my dark mood

MattC, yes, well spotted I was a bit carless there with the Burn. Yep, get on the red, the white even a G&T

bp, yes there was a lot of spirit in my red

Chris, I might have a drinking problem.

Steve, Thanks Mate

Nice image Mic!

Glad to see your enjoying your inverted WW avatar compliments without praising me (the almighty creator!) . Your Grandpa's hand shot has been a talking point at work. It will be with you soon.

Hopefully I will have more time online shortly.

I like it mic. There is some grey blotchiness that sort of disrupts...I like the dark on the RHS. Its good stuff, it adds empty spookiness and that's good. I'm impressed that you could get that out of these images.

Cool, Mic. I saw the eyes too. Clear as day. I really thought you had a layer with eyes in there too.

Note to self: Cut back on meds, or increase!

G'day Mic,
This is intense

Be tempted to crop a bit of the right hand side, too much "blackness" on that side for me, would have liked to see the dark tree line continue along... Also wondering about what looks like some type of "halo'ing" type of effect on the tops of the trees. The sky is brilliant!

Very creative and done very well... Certainly has the feel you were going for... Good PP.
