Hi all,

after viewing the great shots of baby orang by mudder and PlantinumWeaver,
reminds me that i have some older shots in the hd,
so dig up a few, the quality is no where near theirs, i just want to show
how much change/growth the baby orang has had in the last few months.
to me he is very much the same 4 months back as now.
what do you think?

Still cute! He does seem about the same size. Really nice pics. I think you're being a bit harsh on yourself.

G'day Kafuu,

These are terrific! The second one is a great moment, well captured, excellent timing and framing! He's becoming quite independant now, charging off on his own.

He's such a great subject, check out the mandrill's too, the younger females are such show offs, the last time I was there she was hanging on the rocks next to the glass, smacking her hands on the glass up against the hands of all the kids watching who were loving every minute of it! All the kids were squeeling having a ball... :)

The last time I was there I was watching the Snow Leopard feeding, wow what a beautiful, awe inspiring animal...

Maybe we should organise a D70 meet at the Zoo? Maybe a bit late in the season? Just a thought, I know I'd have a ball :)

Mudder it is never too late! I reckon that's a good idea. I haven't been in ages.

mudder,
thanks for your comment, good to hear from someone who is
the expert on animal photography. haven't checked out the mandrill
lately, heard that there is a new baby, will check that out next time.
as to the snow leopard, i love them too, i like the way they look, a bit
sad but with authority. in fact, i have prepared a few shots, pls check out
on another thread. comment and critique please.
