Beautiful tonal range.
Up to your usual high standards. Now that you're shooting Raw, the fur's really gonna fly.

He(?) looks very ummm.... Contemplative? Almost as though he's thinking of something deep... Love dogs... Agree with Redline about the background, but nice exposure...

Nice shot but I have to admit that I am feeling a bit robbed at the moment. The last shot that I lookded at contained syrup filled chocolate frogs and the one is a chocolate dog.

Bring on the 100% real stuff someone please - life is too short :P

Dee, really good shots. Nice BW work on the dog, and the cupcakes shot is about perfect.

On the dog I think that maybe he's a little bit too far on the right, eyes could be positioned more to the left of the frame, as the right edge is crowding him a tad? Is this being too picky? It might be but your shots are so refined as it is I've got to try and say something right?

nope i totally agree...

there is not room for her to look into on the right...which you need in any kind of portrait...
Tika (my parents dog) was not cooperating....i actually had her positioned exactly how i wanted her, except the background was not what i wanted....

its not easy to get her to move and repose :(

Much better - the topic is much more balanced now.

Great lab shot and very yummy cup cakes. Thanks for indulging the sillyness.

Dog is great Flip (I don't like the black frame tho'), chocolate cakes are great too.

My wife cooks the world's best scones but has no idea when it comes to cupcakes - they come out of the oven stale! (Don't worry, she admits to it - she won't bash me if she finds out this thread, at least not much!)
