I've become obsessed with this Japanese maple. It's as if it was tormenting or flirting(?) with me by changing its colours each day...

Wow..gorgeous colours!

This is one of those trees that would be a good subject for daily pics to document it's changes over the year..

If you are looking for some cherry blossoms, the zoo has a surprisingly nice japanese garden. Not sure what they look like atm, but I shot a wedding there last spring and the colours were spectacular.

Piro, were you bored while trying to get paparazzi shots of Kylie and turned your attention to the trees? :)

Wayne,

Excellent colours, even on the LCD monitor in my office which normally has very poor colour reproduction.
Love the contrast and sharpness.

Wow, the colour in this is stunning, with a nice blue backdrop too, how convenient ;)

Wondering about USM, dunno if it's just me or my monitor but it looks "edgey" :?

i'll repost w/out the usm...the usm was really minimal, wondering whether it was worth it after all :)
