Here are a couple of my Anzac Day shots, finally got to processing them!

Any comments are much appreciated as its my first big outing with my D70!

That second image is a very powerful, emotional scene, well captured...

I lose detail in the shadows but not sure if that's what you were after... Also might have tried to get the guys at a shallower angle, I didn't notice the second guy at first and was wondering what was on the front guy's right arm until I noticed "Oh, that's a guy standing behind him"

The last one's good too, just watch out for blow-outs and distracting backgrounds on a portrait type of shot...

Those are some interesting shots, Lukster. The 2nd and last are very good, IMO.

i think these are some great photos
but i think what doesn't work is the poor shadow detail and blowouts in the person head and suit. might wanna pull back on the contrast - more yellow less red.
