Lighting control using Flash - 2 of 8

Manual at 1/500. WB set to Flash -3.

With SB800 set as remote and D70 as Flash commander TTL.

I position the flash behind the butt to create backlights with the edges of the butt as highlights.

thanks. good macro requires alot of light much like avian photography.

The good thing is that in macro the subject is relatively nearer and the flash is powerful enough to be the main light source. In addition, you can also control how you want the background to look like.
