I shot these candids in Watsons Bay, Sydney around 2000 with the Nikon D1.

The official photographer can be seen in one shot with, I believe, a Stoffen extender on his flash. It is always great to be able to pick the unposed shots.

I always thought of shooting someone's wedding in an unsolicited manner, but was worried I would be beaten up or seen as some kind of a perv.

Did you use a telephoto ??

Nice shots Chris, yes i think candids are cool seem to be more real when you can get pics like these.

If I remember correctly these were shot with a 70-300 Nikkor (borrowed)

The beauty of any candid is they don’t really know that they are being recorded and five years later end up on a web site forum!

Mic: what can I say - instead of the little blue pills I have white ones :lol:
