Yet another experiment

Taken with the Sigma 70-200 and SB800. Opened in PS and converted to 32 bit. Exposure control used to finalise image and some smart sharpening applied. Converted to 8 bit and resized to 800 pixels.

The red circle indicates the second image area (100% crop) and on my monitor I can identify objects in the reflections on the button.

What's the comparison if you used 16 bit?

To be honest not much difference in this particular pic. There is jpeg artefacting noticeable in the lower pic. :roll:

forgive my ignorance, but aren't jpegs 8 bits?

Absolutely Piro - I worked the image in 32 bit then converted to 8 bit for saving as a jpeg for uploading to PixSpot

Well Chris cant complain about that, i can see the tables well thats what it looks like and picture on the wall all very clearly. Looks good,thats that good sigma glass ya know. :D
