G'day all,
Well you all know by now, I can't help myself with animal stuff...
These guys just looked so cute and happy together, not a whizz-bang shot but just had to post this... All I needed was for one of 'em to say Cheeeeeese....
Cheers.

sorry for the silly question guys but is a tighter crop when you cut off more of the surrounding picture and focus on the main item more?. Thanks Stephen

Correct. In the meercat pic, the rocks at the bottom could be cut off giving more prominance to the main subject.

I'd have to agree with a tighter crop also, but what magnificent animals the Meer Cats are! They are such poses, and just beautiful. Fantastic shot!
Just noticed your crop as I was previewing my post....very nice!

G'day John,
I always thought they were so cute and cuddly, till I saw feeding time at the Werribee Open Plains Zoo, where they were feeding them mice cut in half! You shoulda seen the buggers go into a feeding frenzy then
Nuther quickie... They are cute little tackers aren't they...?

Yes Andrew i think they would get a bit savage but still can just imagine sitting here in the lounge and 1 of these jump up and sit on your shoulder and sticky beak around, oh well i will just have to train my cat who doesn't come in that often. More like Lisa wont let him in.

Cool shots, Andrew. The crop looks better to me.
