Heh that's pretty cute. I'd crop the coach's hands out though from the RHS.

to me the hands add a lot - they show there is someone there helping and supporting the kids. without them i would infer that there's some kind of opposition just out of shot. instead, it's the exact opposite!

Nice sharp pic. As the image loaded I thought that the next kid in line was giving someone the bird

Great shot, expression on his face says it all.
Well done.

”Is this going to hurt?” - the expression says it all plus the hands, IMO, are important.

Great first post :D

Love it. The light is nice, good skin tones and the colours just pop.
Plus of course the facial expression and also that the kid looks like he is birding the coach.
One to be proud of IMHO.

This is a great first post. The colours are good and the composition works exceptionally well at telling the story. It definitely needs the coaches hands. Having all the kids in focus enhances the shot too since the look on all their faces tells different but interesting stories - adding extra depth to the image on subseuqent viewings. Well done.

Great capture, nice composition with the hands and great DOF to highlight the players

Thanks for all the positive feedback - had quite a few laughs that day at the kids expense!!! I have to admit that when I first saw the pic I thought the kid in the background was giving someone the finger!!
