Yeah John, you're right, first two bit out of focus, they were literally snap shots with a fully extended 300mm slow lens so the best I could do! Will have to clean up that dust spot, not sure if on lens or CCD? Max

Maxie, the middle gull is great against the deep blue, minus the bunny of course.
Is that last bird trying to fly and has he got any undies on
These surfer dudes need to think about these things when there is stalking sufer photographer dudes hanging around with big long Nikkon glass

UNfortunately Mic only Tamron glass, if Birdie is listening and wants a test pilot for a Nikkor 600mm I would be happy to help out!

Max - the last shot is great and I even thought that you may have used flash
Your avatar is great - one of the classic clowns

Chris, the light was perfect yesterday, but only for about 10 minutes, then it gets too dark.
I think you're right, Harpo was very funny but my favourite was Chico and his piano playing, especially when he played the piano with a piece of fruit!

That 3rd shot is very cool, Max.
Don't get rid of the dust bunnie, they're nice conversation pieces, especially if they're in focus.

Yeh i think Max you did a good job, and i know it is hard and i too have a problem i think og hitting the shutter button to early at times instead of waiting to focus. This may not be the problem but seem to be one i have at times, something have to start to get out of the habit.LOL But i love your surf shots.
Cheers

Yeah John, I think it is hard to get the timing right, thankfully the D70 multiple shot function works pretty well and rescues some situations. Oftentimes I see a great aerial manouvre and then 'click', its too late! We'll keep trying!
