I've been scanning some old slides and negs, attempting to digitize everything I have ever shot. It's going to be a big job. Most of my slides have never been printed so I was pleasently suprised to see this come to life on the monitor.

The grain and dark lighting really make this image. It's almost like a painting.

Woooops! I have photographed a lot of tulips, (my wife is Dutch), but I suspect this image was a doc copy from a magazine I shot as an exercise many years ago. I have yet to scan my other tulip shots. I have removed the image and aplogize to its author...whose name I shamefully did not record.
