Woke up and there was my first sunrise from my balcony.
I had no tripod available so just grabbed the camera and pushed the ISO up to 500.
18-70 kit lens, Landscape mode (in a hurry), 1/125 sec, f9.

It came out a bit grainy with the high ISO.

Awesome shot john ,i gotta get my camera very soon these shots are brilliant .I was thinking of the canon or the d70 but im now convinced that the d70 is more than up to my needs

Thanks for the feedback guys.

Now I've got a loan of a tripod and have started using raw, I reckon I can get some sharper shots, subject to the sunrise co-operating.
