really nice shot Geoff. I like the way you have composed the city between the branches.....very well done.
The only thing I'd possibly look to change is a little more contrast on the cityscape...but that's just my personal preference. Well done Dave

Cool image Geoff. A nice fresh look at a well photographed subject. I like the soft contrast on the citiy, giving a hazy effect, and how it is in contrasts with the strong blacks in the forground nature.
Cheers, Craig
Very nice geoff, thats a view of Las Sydneynus I have never seen before. where's that Coat Hanger thingy
Mic.
Thanx Mic,
Look carefully to the right Geoff

different approach ...Hi Geoff,
I must admit that I have a rather different idea regarding this shot. I would have cropped it much tighter because I believe that in its current form the photo has too much foreground shrubbery and too much twigs on either side, especially on the left hand side. I believe that the city scape deserves all the attention, framed by a less amount of twigs. Cheers CD
This is NOT inverted...ok...so I took christiand's advice/thoughts and copped the image more, by the way, this is not inverted..then I played around in CS2 - and came up with this.... went to image/adjustments/gradient map... and this was the outcome...just mucking around

I like it, but agree with Dave that a little more contrast on the city/clouds might be a good thing.
