At the Zoo.With 80-200 ED, this one is a pain to carry around (1.3 Kg).
All handheld , Jpeg mode.Auto WB.

She flys too fast and high. Lens is heavy and a little slow AF.

It just land on the post. The sun is bright and my fill flash is too weak to overcome the sun light.

Oh......

#1 - too far away, harsh lighting......can't see much detail in the wings
#2 - too dark, no detail in the shadows. Needs some fill light (as already stated). Also it's a butt shot. Plus the surrounding follaige is a bit distracting.

Hi

Steve it is Sydney Taroga zoo. This is live Bird show this bird is extremely fast, the show guy throw food or somethings into the air and she just flys very fast to catch it on the air.

MCWB , thank for nice comment , but the 1 st pic is a litlte OFF because panning , but I will try .

Thank Darryl I had no choice because can not move out of my seat, can't even stand up, people everywhere so I just grab what I can, I am saving for the SB800 as my old one Metz 32ct7 has very low power GN, hope I will do better next time.

Glen, now I have 26 posts only 4 more then I become a member

Hi Hien,

so you have finally decided on the SB800 over it's smaller sibling.

You wont be dissapointed with the extra money it costs

Hi Huynh

Yes , I will get the SB800 as now I save every week for it, beside pay morgage, for kid school fee, study fee...I set aside an amount for it.
Thank for the advise at the meet.My current one, an old Metz 32ctxx can not forcus in the dark and has very low guide number.

Hien, a fierce looking bird, all birds are hard to photograph, well almost all!
